Twitter Tools 2.0 Twitter Authentication Not Working

****I previously posted this under an older version support post for Twitter Tools. I’ve created this new post…..sorry.

I’m not sure where I’m going wrong.

I’ve installed Twitter Tools 2.0, and I’m running WP 2.7 –

I’m getting the error that it cannot authenticate my twitter account login – Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter:

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled
I’ve changed my twitter password on twitter
I’ve also written a blog post, utilizing the twitter feature that let’s me “notify twitter” and it never showed up as a tweet.

Nothing I’m doing is seemingly successful.

Any help would be awesome!
