hello,

I am the admin of http://pepdeal.com/ . When i go to share any page on my site on twitter, the bellow url appears in the tweet instead of my actual url.

the url is : – Pepdeal http://tinyurl.com/62m4oy4

and where my actual url is :- http://pepdeal.com/

This is the home page.

Please help me to fix it.

Hi MizanKabir,

If you’re using your Slick Social Share Buttons plugin to share your pages,

The plugin includes the option to select URL shortening for twitter from several services:

Bit.ly
Digg
Su.pr
tinyurl

It’s normal in Twitter for URLs to be shortened using one of those services.

thanks for your information.

I use slick social Share Buttons plugin to share my pages. I now select “None” on the “twitter URL shorter” tab.

But it still show the the url is : – Pepdeal http://tinyurl.com/62m4oy4

If you’re sure you do not have any other plugins installed and activated that could be causing this, I would suggest contacting the developer of the plugin:

Looks like he’s pretty active on his FAQ page and should be able to help you with this issue.
