Twenty Twelve Navigation in Header?

Hi,
I made a twenty twelve child theme and want to change the header and navigation so that the are both in one line – a logo image on the left and the navigation menu on the right.
I’ve searched everywhere, tried many things, but nothing seems to move them together. Seems like it shouldn’t be so difficult..
