Twenty fifteen does not seem to be working correct. Can not apply a Header Photo, It always puts it in the side bar. Trying too figure out if Theme is corrupt or word-press ?

I don’t have the real answer, but I believe that’s WP’s new format. Mine is acting the same way.

Yes, the sidebar and header image is on the left side by design – except on smaller devices.

If you want a traditional header, there are lots of other really great themes to pick from – https://wordpress.org/themes/
