• Hey everyone,

    You’ll notice on my site when you click off of the home or main page all of the widgets vanish…

    I see now that I’ve updated only the #main to have the background, so how do I make it the same for all pages?

    The widgets still confuse me.

    Any idea whats happening?

    Cheers

  • that is intended by design.

    static pages and single posts do not have a sidebar;
    for static pages, there is a page template with sidebar which you could select under ‘Page Attributes’ – ‘Template’

    don’t edit Twenty eleven directly – create a child theme to make the edits there http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Thanks for replying,

    where do I find the Page Attributes?

    dashboard – pages – all pages: then click ‘edit’ below the page name of your choice -> ‘page attributes’ should be on the right on the ‘edit page’ page –
    if not, click ‘screen options’ near the top right of that page and tick the ‘page attributes’ tick box.

    Perfect!

    Thank you so much.

    How about using a background image for the menu bar?
