Tweet This plugin plus Events Manager

I am using the Tweet This plugin to automatically tweet posts. I was hoping to use it in the same way for events posted using Events Manager, but the “Send to Twitter” checkbox from Tweet This does not show up on a new event page the way it does for new posts or new pages. Does anyone know if there’s a way to make this work, or are these two plugins simply not compatible?
