Tutor LMS course/lesson
-
Hello,
I’m running GTranslate on a WordPress site (123coursly.com) that also uses Tutor LMS for course/lesson content, and I’ve found a consistent translation issue I’d like help resolving.
The problem:
When I change the GTranslate language, my site’s theme header and footer translate correctly. However, absolutely nothing inside the actual Tutor LMS course/lesson area translates — not the lesson text, not the sidebar lesson list, not the quiz content. This happens regardless of which language I switch to.What I’ve confirmed so far:
- This happens on every course I’ve tested, both older courses and brand-new ones, so it isn’t specific to one course’s content.
- I’ve reset GTranslate to its default settings and saved.
- I’ve fully deactivated all caching plugins and tested in a fresh incognito window, so it isn’t a caching issue.
- I’ve removed a custom plugin that was previously blocking GTranslate on these pages entirely, so nothing on my own site is intentionally blocking translation anymore.
- The lesson content itself contains ordinary, translatable text with no special “notranslate” markers on the surrounding container — I checked the page source directly to confirm this.
One technical detail that may be relevant: Tutor LMS’s course page displays lesson content inside tabs (Overview / Announcements / Reviews / etc.), and I can see in the page source that this tab system uses Alpine.js (x-show and x-cloak attributes) to control which tab’s content is visible. I’m not certain if this is related, but wanted to mention it in case it’s a known interaction with how GTranslate scans a page.
My question: is this a known compatibility issue between GTranslate and Tutor LMS’s tab-based content rendering? If so, is there a setting or workaround on GTranslate’s side that would fix it?
Happy to provide a live example URL or any further detail that would help troubleshoot this.
Thank you.
