FYI: I also check the wp_tutor_carts and wp_tutor_cart_items tables and see that new records are not created there when adding products to the cart
Hello @egorcherd,
Thank you for reaching out!
Since you are using WooCommerce as your eCommerce engine, the TutorLMS cart and checkout pages will not be functional. Instead, all transactions will be handled through WooCommerce’s cart and checkout system. That’s why when you add a course to the cart, it appears in the WooCommerce cart but not in the Tutor cart.
Additionally, the wp_tutor_carts and wp_tutor_cart_items tables are specifically used for TutorLMS’s Native eCommerce Engine. When WooCommerce is used, these tables will not be populated, as WooCommerce manages the cart and checkout process independently.
@urnafiz Thank you very much for your reply!
So this means I can’t use Tutor’s cart interface, but only WooCommerce? Also, the cart will always display not Tutor courses, but WooCommerce products?
Hello @egorcherd,
You’re absolutely right! When using WooCommerce as the eCommerce engine, Tutor LMS relies entirely on WooCommerce’s cart and checkout system. This means Tutor LMS’s native cart interface won’t be used. Instead, all transactions, including adding courses to the cart and checking out, will be managed through WooCommerce.
