TTFB insanely high

    Dear everybody,

    I happily installed WordPress on my website: http://www.dopie.nl. But since I did that, the time to first byte is insanely high. Is there something I can do about it? You can see the test results here: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140415_11_CXJ/

    I also know that the images take a lot of time, I am working on that. But the TTFB still is around 5 seconds.

    I already installed the plugin totalcache, but that didn’t work.
