We looked at what you reported, and it wasn’t just a settings issue. The plugin was missing some links, and with a coming-soon page in front of the site, internal URLs could look fine when they weren’t. That’s fixed in a beta.
You can try it here:
https://www.tusoporteonline.es/blog/wp-content/uploads/tso-link-inspector.zip
What’s new
- ACF fields. It now finds links ACF stores as IDs (image, file, gallery, page link, relationship, and so on) and links on ACF Options pages.
- Elementor. If a button or link comes from an Elementor or ACF dynamic tag (not a typed URL), the plugin now resolves the real address. To change it, use Go to edit on the template or post.
- Coming soon / maintenance. If every page shows the same coming-soon screen, internal links are no longer marked OK. They show as Unverifiable until the site is public. External links and media files are still checked.
- Headers and footers. A lot of links live in Elementor or Porto templates. In Settings → Content types, tick Elementor Library and Porto Builder if you want those scanned. The plugin does not turn them on for you; you’ll see a notice if they’re unchecked.
How to test
- update using the ZIP above.
- In Settings, keep ACF/Meta scanning on, and enable the builder types if you need templates.
- Run Scan now (finds links), then Check now (tests them). Scan alone is not enough.
If a link you know is broken still doesn’t show up, tell us where it lives (post, product, or template) and we’ll look again.
Next release in monday will have this changes and more fixes
Thanks for the report — it helped us fix real gaps in the plugin.
Hi deadko, thanks so much for your help, will give it a try and keep you posted. Cheers.

We’ve updated Scan to run on the server (like Check now), so it no longer depends on a single browser request. If it stops, click Continue scan to resume from the last saved position. The progress bar now shows how many posts were scanned (e.g. 120 / 3572) and a clear message if something fails. You can also close the admin tab while scanning — it keeps running in the background.
Version 2.4.1 .
Test it tomorrow i say if is corrected. Thanks!!
Hi, thanks for your help.
When running the plugin behind a coming soon page, it comes up with the following. Do we need to remove the coming soon page for it to work?
“This site appears to be behind a coming-soon or maintenance page. Internal HTML links are not marked OK or broken (status: Unverifiable) until the site is publicly reachable. External URLs and media files are still checked.”
We are trying to scan our site which uses ACF fields and the site is under development mode.
Please confirm, if we remove the Coming Soon page, how does that help?
When running the scan, we noticed this yesterday “24% – Scanning 850 of 3577…” and today it has not changed.
Cheers
Following on from the above, we see the following though nothing has progressed for 24 hours.
Diagnostics result:
OK DB table: test_tso_link_inspector OK INSERT test OK Post types: page, product-file, product OK Published posts: 3577 OK First post: 2 "Sample Page" OK Links in first post: 1 OK scan_post(): 1 OK DB records: 819

Hello,
Thank you for your report. TSO Link Inspector 2.4.3 includes fixes for two issues: background scans could stall when WP-Cron did not run, and opening Link Inspector could overload a staging site if a scan was left running.
On a coming-soon site, Scan now reads post content and ACF from the database, so it still works. Check now uses HTTP requests to each URL; the coming-soon page returns the same response for almost every internal page, so the plugin cannot tell OK from broken links without reporting false results. Those internal HTML links are marked Unverifiable on purpose. External URLs and uploaded files are still checked. For internal OK/Broken status, run a check while the site is publicly reachable (or temporarily disable the coming-soon plugin).
Please update to 2.4.3 when I update it; then use Stop scan → Continue scan if progress was stuck. If problems remain, reply with your WordPress and PHP versions.
Best regards,

Finally I repaired the problem of the stopped scans with no reason, version 2.4.5 .
I hope is resolved now.
Test it, thanks
