• I am trying to install wordpress on my diskstation synology. Here is what i get when i type uname -a:

    Linux cross 3.2.40 #15047 Tue Feb 14 02:38:20 CST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux synology_armada370_216se

    I installed wordpress by just uploading the folder to the diskstation and then creating a database and user in phpmyadmin and then doing the quickinstall. It installed but i couldnt donwload themes or plugins so i added the following line to the config file:

    define(‘FS_METHOD’,’direct’);

    Then i could get new themes and plugin, maybe i changed some permissions too.

    the problem now is that the contact form 7 doesnt work. That is when i try to send i get the red square. The red square is a mail server trouble.

    I didnt see anywhere that i was supposed to configure mail server when i installed wordpress. Where do i do that is that the real problem here? or is it something with my install that is just wrong.

    I have a virtual server that point to the installation folder of wordpress and uses apache http server 2.2 and php 5.6.

    I appreciate reply regarding how to go ahead.

    Mattias
