• I am on the latest version of wordpress. I am having issues getting the links to paginate correctly. To better clarify, once I’ve paginated, the AJAX function won’t change pages. I can’t seem to get the other options to work at all.

I currently have the page set to show all, due to this being a live site. However, I’m not sure if this is a plugin issue, or perhaps I’m not understanding something correctly. (I’m not that comfortable with coding, so I can’t/won’t check things for plugins)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you export your library settings and send me the resulting file? This will allow me to configure my test site exactly as yours. Without this information, it it hard to be sure that I have my library set up as yours.

I have done some basic tests and everything is working as expected on my test site.

I took a look at the page you mentioned on your site, and am now seeing any of the pagination controls. Did you just decide to deactivate them?

If you don’t want to have a page that is not working, you can always create another page with Link Library that is not linked to and where you put Link Library with different settings so we can troubleshoot the issue.

I can definitely send it! I don’t see a way to attach a file to the forums, so let me know where I can send it.

Yes, to answer your question about deactivating. This site sees over 3k eyes a day and I could not leave it non-functional. However, I can create a page specific for you to view, if that helps.

I was thinking it may be a plugin issue, because the site runs a large volume of plugins for the site’s community components. I just do not have the capability of deactivating plugins one by one to find it (if that’s the case, anyway, which it may not be) due to the site being live.

Love the plugin, by the way. It was the perfect solution for what I needed it for. 🙂

Let me know where I can send the export file. I can also give you temporary admin credentials if you’d like to check there, too.

    Thanks!

I have not received your configuration file yet. Did you send it?

Also, for your information, plugin developers are highly encouraged never to accept login credentials to user web sites.

Apologies, I got busy suddenly and forgot to send it.

I did reactivate paginate if you’d like to view the page again. I’ve now sent the file as well.

    Thanks!

Thank for you the configuration file. I have been able to reproduce the issue. The problem is that the AJAX method of switching categories, and only showing one category at a time, only works when you display a list of categories above or below the links by using the [link-library-cats] shortcode.

Since you only seem to want to display a single category of links anyways, I suggest you:

    – Deactivate the ‘Only show one category at a time’ option under the Common Library Settings tab
    – Select the single category to be displayed from the list at the top of the Common Library Settings tab

Once this is done, you should be able to use the pagination option. Let me know if this works for you and please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.

Thank you so much! It works like a charm now.

I do plan to purchase & donate to the specific plugins we’re using once the funds begin to roll in.

Site is being reworked to actually produce some income so it is definitely a work in progress.

However, thank you for your time and effort put into this plugin. It will be appreciated by thousands every day who view this page. 🙂
