Trouble with new theme

Not sure where to start here…but here goes…

I purchased a new theme (Business by NattyWP) and thought all was going to be good. Now, I’m still fairly new to WordPress, but I get the basics. I created my own custom menu and added a Test Page to that menu. When I go to the site, and click on the Test Page in the menu, I get a “page not found” error. This did not happen when I first started to use the theme…but it does now. I don’t think I changed anything critical. When I first installed the theme, I had a message that said “Note: To complete the installation you need to CHMOD directory cache (/Business/cache) to 777 permissions. I did this…could that have messed anything up?

I’m really having problems using this new theme. I don’t think it’s the theme, it’s me. I just don’t know where to start for help. I don’t understand the Home and Blog menu items…I thought they were pages, but there are no pages by that name in my list of pages.

I’m so confused.
