trouble understanding the developer documentation

hi,

i am having trouble understanding the documentation. i suppose this is because i am used to finding working examples from other plugins that offer a developer documentation.

what some plugins offer is the ability to override a widget by copying the widget file, modifying what is required and then placing it in a customisation directory within the active theme.

what i am looking or hoping to find in this developer documentation:

• a way to modify existing widgets in terms of editable options and the rendered html of the widget.
• a way to disable existing widgets.
• a way to extend the font icons library. by using fontello i can generate font icons that i have created bundled with fontawsome icons. is there away to modify the icons widget so it reads off my generated font icons?
• a way to add a widget to the widgets library and coded in the same way as the existing widgets without having to build a plugin.
• a way to change the grid system, i am used to the bootstrap grid and markup so was hoping for elementor to work in that way.
• a way to add additional global options

i am assuming that the developer documentations are found here: https://github.com/pojome/elementor/tree/develop/docs, if not then can you point me to the right direction.
