trouble on menus appearence

Hello
I have seen your theme and I wanted to use it because it is very well for my site for students in egyptology
But I dont undersatand why the menus which are on horizontal line on photos example of the theme, are vertical in real , and the drop-down menus are collapsed, which becomes inoperative
