@delene – To change a watermark you first need to restore the image from backup (look under the Bulk Actions) then you can apply the new watermark.
If you have turned off the default backup option then you will need to remove the image and re-upload it to apply the new watermark.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply @photocrati. I have removed the images (and at one point the entire gallery – even going into GoDaddy and deleting the files) and re-uploaded several times, applying the new watermark, yet it still shows the old one. Have even switched browsers and cleared the cache.
@delene – Do you have any caching on your site or via your server that may be preserving the watermark image instead of using the new image you have set?

I have a similar problem where it seems like it is impossible to get anything right with these watermarks now. It used to work when i tried it a few weeks ago but since then i have upgraded to the latest version and have nothing but trouble.
My problem is that i choose an image and the preview looks good only to have the final result being just a text watermark. Tried just about everything with reverting back to backup versions numerous times. Cleared cache and even downloaded images of ftp to double check the results.
Seems to me something changed for the worse after upgrading to NextGEN Plus v1.3.5. Hopefully the fact that more people than me are having problems, points towards some bug that needs fixing.
