You have to go to the dashboard –> appearance–> customize, then scroll down and select Menus–> Social link Menu and then add items and then select custom HTML. In custom HTML box add your TripAdvisor link and save.
I did as you said but the icon of Tripadvisor didn’t appear. I mean there is a clickable empty space that bring me to the Tripadvisor page, but there is not a logo as Facebook or Instagram.
I think that there are preset icons/logos for social sites only. There is no way as far as I checked to add TripAdvisor logo into this social menu.
