You seem to sound the cache is not updated.
The cache for a unit does not get updated if the unit is not displayed. If a unit with an expired cache is displayed, it triggers a cache renewal event in the background. This means that at the time the unit is displayed with an expired cache, the viewer still sees the cache (old contents) while it is updated in the background. So you may reload the page after 15 seconds or so.
Also, it could be that if your unit is a search unit, the search result may be just the same as before. So the same products are shown.

v3.5.0 has been released and you can renew unit caches with the Renew Cache action link in the unit listing table via Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Manage Units.
