    Hi J,

    I think the problem may be with a different translation, relating to the following:

    #: ../public/template-tags/loop.php:171
msgid "Events for "
msgstr ""

    So if you could check your .po file and ensure that translation (“Events for ” rather than “Events for %s”) is in order, then recompile to .mo format if necessary, that might get you on track here.
