transport Error from API Key

    hello, i havea problem with the wordpress stats plugin and the API key,

    when i tried to put mi API key, i revice this error:

    Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error – could not open socket: 0 Success)

    what does it mean?
