Transparent Menu

Hi there,
I wonder if you could help me out; I’m a little bit lost! I’m trying to find a way to make the body background black, as I want the text to be white. Also, I can’t seem to make the menu background transparent on all pages; and the menu isn’t visible on the mobile view…it’s probably really simple and I’m sorry that I’m asking such basic things.
