No, this isn’t possible, they have to be in English. If you want to translate the weekdays so they show up in a different language on the front-end, then you have to use the pot file.

Thanks, I created the translation files! It would be very nice to view the schedules as does “google my business”, highlighting the current day with the words “open now” “opens between” etc.

Hi Tijmen,
I have created the wpsl-pt_PT.po and wpsl-pt_PT.mo files using your pot file and placed those files into languanges (plugin folder) but its not working.
Everything is in portuguese but the weekdays (monday, tuesday, etc)
