Translation problem on posts page

Hello!

Congratulations on plugin!

I am using English as their native language and Portuguese as an option.

Everything is working well, with respect to the static pages, menus and theme.

My problem is that I created a page for publications, created articles, translate them and created a bond between them.

When I click on the page to publications, all publications appear in English. Move to Portuguese still have publications in English.

What I’m doing wrong?

I appreciate all the help 🙂

uhm… something goes wrong…

please install this version http://www.alessandrosenese.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/ceceppa-multilingua3.zip
and in “Ceceppa Multilingua” -> “Settinsg” -> “Advaced” tab enable the option “Debug”…
don’t worry debug information will be displayed only to registered user or by adding a parameter to url 😉

Now I’m going to sleep, so I’ll check debug information later 🙂

Hi Alessandro,

Please note that I’m using

<?php query_posts( ‘category_name=news’ ); if ( have_posts() ) : ?>

On the index.php of the theme

To get only the posts on the “news” category.

Hi Alessandro,

I’ve resolved the problem by creating a new menu item called also “News” pointing to the News category. However the problem on the Articles page remains. I leave the debug on until you take a look it.
In the Menu you’ve “News” pointing to a Articles Page and a Sub-menu also called “News” pointing to a Articles Category called News.

Hi Alessandro,

I’ve being testing the version that you send me to install, and now the page of posts works in both languages, but, for example, you click on a post in Portuguese, you see the post in Portuguese, but if you click again in the News >> “Notícias” on the Top Menu you get the website back to English.

Can you fix that ? Please 😉

That page can’t have a translated linked page because is unique.

“News” page is unique, but which language did you assigned to it?
