I am currently translating the plugin to german (Switzerland) with poedit an the translation file ‘xa-woocommerce-subscription-de_CH.po’ derived from the german version ‘xa-woocommerce-subscription-de_DE.po’. So far everything works fine.

Only on the ‘my account’/subscriptions page the prices are shown as “CHF 5.39 / month” instead of “CHF 5.39 / monat“. the same behaviour exists also in the backend on the products/subscriptions page. Do you have a tip to solve the issue.

If you are interested in the translation file for Switzerland de-CH im am happy to help. Currently about 2/3 are translated which covers all I can see on my pages:-).

Hi all

Instead of bundling translations with your plugin and having users send them to you, you should really use the WordPress.org translation platform.

There are thousands of translators that can translate your plugin there, even into de_CH.

Looking at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/xa-woocommerce-subscriptions, your plugin isn’t properly prepared for localization yet. That usually means you’re using something else than xa-woocommerce-subscriptions as your text domain or you’re not using load_plugin_textdomain() which is needed (unless your plugin requires WordPress 4.6 or higher). Hi @buwi – Will be adding the translation into plugin in next update.
Hi @swissspidy – We are using xa-woocommerce-subscriptions as text domain, also we are using load_plugin_textdomain() function.
Most of the strings are rendering through functions like __ , _e, esc_html__ and _nx …

Dear both

Thanks for your support and guidance so far. This is my first WordPress project an I am still a newbie with a hopefully steep learning curve :-). With the translation de-CH I just wanted to give something back to the community and if it finds its way in the right channel – that’s fine with me.
