I have a WordPress website using Translatepress, there are two languages: English(United States) and Chinese(Hong Kong). In the menu, I can see there are 香港中文 displayed in the language switcher but I want to use 繁體中文 as the language name, I just read this document https://translatepress.com/docs/developers/change-language-name/

    I entered

zh-HK in the Language code field

繁體中文 in the Native Language field

and I clicked the save button but it did not override the Native name in the language switcher. How to override the Native language name from 香港中文 to 繁體中文?

    Hello there,

Thank you for letting us know about this!

If you want to change the native language name of a language, you have to go to Custom Language and create your custom language.

After this, you need to go to the General tab and from there you should change the original language with the custom one you created and like this, the native name you put will be displayed.

Let me know if you manage to do this!

    Kind Regards,
