    Hey anhtuan020588!

Thanks for swinging by the forum. I totally understand the need to get that language updated in the PO files.

Once you’ve added the file to the PO directory, you should be able to make a pull request through our plugin’s GitHub page. Here’s a link to our FAQ, which includes a helpful little walkthrough of that process:

Let us know if there are any questions, or if there’s anything about that walkthrough that we can help clarify! 🙂

    Hi Elliot,

It seems so hard for me 🙁 Is there any easier way than using GitHub? Can i simple edit database or php file?

    Hi Anhtuan,

The instructions in the faq are for situations where a new translation is submitted to the plugin. If you’re just trying to use a translation in your install, set the default language in your WordPress install and the corresponding po file in the plugin for your language should be used. This page from the WordPress codex can help with setting up a language in WordPress:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_in_Your_Language

For example, if the language is setup in the wp-config.php file is set as pt_BR the mailchimp_i18n-pt_BR.po file in the plugin po folder would be used.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
