TRANSLATE "CHOOSE AN OPTION…"

How can i translate the text “Choose an option..” from the variable products combo list?

I read in the variable.php file from woocommerce templates, but that string is not in my file…

All of the strings are translatable under the text domain “woocommerce”. And you can find the languages folder at woocommerce/i18n/languages/.

thanks, the problem is that the plugin is already translated, but when the options are not selected it appears “CHOOSE AN OPTION…” (with the 3 dots at the end) then when i click on it, it appears in spanish ELIGE UNA OPCIÓN. But why, first, it appears on english? the plugin is translated already, where can i find that string? i believe is in some file but i cant find it, its not in the variable.php file.

I have already changed also the wc-template-functions.php and nothing changes…

There might be a theme / plugin override in that the “Choose an option” is not coming from WooCommerce. I’ve suggest using https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ to find all strings related to that by searching through your plugins / theme.
