Transferring HTML coded page to WordPress

    I would like to know if I create a web page of HTML code in say Word (save as web page) or in Dreamweaver, how do I transfer this to a new page in WordPress? I’m guessing I would need to have all and any images involved uploaded to my media library. Sorry if this seems obvious. As you might guess I am quite the novice.

    Any help gratefully received.

    yes you will have to upload all images to the media manager and update links of image in the article too.Open a new post page, change editor mode from Visual to text mode by selecting text mode tab and then paste your HTML article.
