transfering html documents to wordpress

I created a Blog about two months back it’s now up and running most of the little faults ironed out.

I have about 50 or so articles on my hard drive from a previous website that I operated and I’d like to transfer these documents to my new blog. How do I do that? The articles are currently sitting on my old laptop on a copy of Dreamweaver.

If possible I’d like to transfer them up to my blog and then have them posted at intervals, say three or four each day
