Hi Nancy, I don’t think you will have any issues. However just to make sure everything works. Set up your site in the new server without shutting down the old site and check to see if everything is there. Let us know how you go.

That’s the problem. I don’t know how to get my downloads to show on the new site. It shows all the buttons on my posts but when I click on them I get “Error! This download item (27759) does not have any download link. Edit this item and specify a downloadable file URL for it.” And in settings in the dashboard no downloads show are there. The list is empty.
Hi, did you try to edit the download links in your new server? What kind of download items do you have set up? Are they URLs or physical files?
Remember that your new URL path might be different to your old servers path.
I have physical files in a folder on my server. I have hundreds of downloads. So redoing them one at a time is not really practical. Where is that data kept? It’s not in the plugin folder as I’ve copied my current plugin folder over to the new site along with my download folders and it didn’t populate the list of downloads in the dashboard plugin area.
I realize I have to change a url in the data at some point.
Surely I don’t have put in each download again do I? That data is kept somewhere I just don’t know where. When I click on the front end download buttons it gives me an item number it just can’t find the download link. Where’s it getting the item number from?
Sure wish there was an export feature on this for moving it. It’s my last plugin to move on my site and I can’t get it moved over.
