    Hi,

I’ve been testing this plugin and so far I find it very good. Congratulations.

But, if I decide to switch to a different SEO plugin in the future, will I be able to use the SEO Data Transporter to transfer records from the SEO Framework to the other plugin?

In that case, I would be switching to a plugin included in the SEO Data Transporter. Would convert data from Genesis work flawlessly? Or do you plan to include data in a format that might be different from Genesis?

Well, the best thing would be to have the SEO Framework included in the SEO Data Transporter, but until then…

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Argumentum,

    Thanks :).

The transferring of data is quite a superficial process, and can go both ways.
So you’ll simply have to switch the data points from left to right :).

So yes, the transporter will work.

Changing the way the data is handled is a huge and difficult process. So the data points will always be the same, like Genesis.

I am however planning to change the way term (categories, tags) data is handled. Because it’s now inefficient (performance wise), buggy (patch 2.6.1 to 2.6.6) and WordPress 4.4 has introduced a better way. But the transporter doesn’t handle term data, so that’s an easier decision :).

I hope this clears things up :). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
