    Hi Yoast,
    Hello everybody

A few days ago all things works good with my sitemap.
I mean: when I was tried to go to mydomain/sitemap.xml I was redirect to mydomain/sitemap_index.xml (everything ok)

but right now I get 404 error

A few days ago I made a little modification and now I have all my links with trailing slash in the end (sitemap_index.xml/) too.

My question: how can I resolve this?

    Thank you very much
    Regards.

I will try to explain it better,

    a few days ago:
    domain.com/sitemap.xml……….domain.com/sitemap_index.xml
    ————————————————————

    today:
    domain.com/sitemap.xml……….404 error

right now if I try domain.com/sitemap_index.xml redirect me to domain.com/sitemap_index.com/

    Hi F5,

It looks like you’ve made a modification to your permalinks that have resulted in the trailing slash. If you need help setting up your permalinks, there are developers for hire at: http://directory.codepoet.com/

Our plugin does not output a sitemap.xml so if you had a redirection in place, then it is something that has now been changed or edited. The correct path is sitemap_index.xml for the dynamic sitemap we create. Please be sure that is the URL you submit to Google Search Console.
