    Hi,

Is there a way with the tracking code to provide the user email when a registered user is logged in? Most of our users are registered, and the only way tracking would otherwise be enabled is if they fill out a contact form or respond to an email. I’d like to use the fact we know the registered user and notify HubSpot of this fact.

    Hi Andrew,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am not sure that I am fully understanding. Could you possibly provide more details about what you are trying to accomplish? Are you trying to create a contact in the HubSpot CRM for a user without them filling out a form or do you want to track page views for users who are not a contact in the CRM?

Hopefully I can be of more assistance once I understand the problem better.

    Best,

We have thousands of registered users on our site. Most are already logged in via cookie. I’ve imported these users to the Hubspot CRM.

When we activate the plugin, it isn’t identifying these users activity. If a user uses the login form, then their account activity is tracked afterwards. It seems like the plugin should have a hook to identify logged in users, and use their registered email to identify them.

okay, I think I see what you mean. Have you tried using the examples in the Identify a Visitor section of the tracking code documentation?

Marking this as resolved. I hope the documentation helped. Let me know if it is now what you were looking for!
