Tracking lead changes

Hi there!
I was wondering if you could include an option that allows tracking of lead changes. We have a team manager that receives the leads. Then he distributes those leads to the sales team, according to his workload or his own criteria.
We, as business owners, want to track the performance of the team manager assigning those leads, and of the sales team, measuring how much follow-up really has been.
I thought of an easy way to implement this in your plugin, requiring little changes in the interface. As far as DB goes, I think adding one table for the follow up could be enough.
Could this feature be implemented? is really useful to measure the effectiveness of the sales team.
