Trackback questions.

    Hmn, how it work exactly?

    i can’t see any trackback inside post or comment.

    I post a post at trackback url enter another blog trackback url which isn’t wordpress.

    Then I at another web post trackback url that is my own post.

    After that i post my own blog again.

    I check post area and comment area.

    There isn’t any trackback comment being displayed.

    What is the coding i might lack for this? which php?

    if you are willing to test with me. Please click my nickname on the right go to my web then browse to click comment at comment form got the trackback url. Ctrl C and paste in your own post.

    See whether can trackback.

    And it display the below.

    This might help. It allows you to test and gives the response from the server as well:

    i never tried yours but it worked after i try the link i post. Now it display on my comments.

    But does wordpress work with other blog that didn;t used wordpress trackback?

    cause i didn’t recieve any trackback that from other blogs.

    Trackbacks should be cross-platform, so if you can send and recieve ok, then it is likely a problem on the other blog.

    hmn. So correct procedure for me to send trackback are via post trackback url and receive trackback are the url that obtain in my blog trackback url.

    That mean if another person took my trackback url and post in their blog.

    My post comment will also reflect on this trackback.

    likewise when use post to send trackback. Other blog comment will also display trackback from me.

    Am i correct to say that?

    I just need to be sure how it worked.
