Totally Confused

Hi

Please forgive me for being thick but I am downloading this new version after years of not building a website and this version seems completely different.

After installing and activating I cannot see how to check that the sitemap is installed correctly or what the url is to submit to Google?

For e.g. I thought in the past I would type http://www.mysite.com/sitemap/xml?

However that just gives an error. I have also tried xsl as per the files on the server but no luck?

I have read the readme file and looked through the forum posts but am none the wiser.

For now I have deleted it while I search for another plugin but as this is a well established and respected plugin I would much rather use it.

Can you give a bit more guidance please to the non techies like me as to exactly what the steps are to checking the sitemap and submitting to Google please (the link I have to use not all the steps on using Webmaster tools).
