• I consider myself a non-newbie when it comes to WP, and have done successful installs in the past, including moving the root directory (ie changing index.php, .htaccess moving them, redoing permalinks etc.) but have been totally flumoxed by attempts to do the same today. Install, works fine, move it exactly as per instructions, totally blank page.

Any suggestions? I’m using one.com, and cyberduck ftp on a mac running tiger. I’ve checked the index.php loads of times, and can see the .htaccess in my ftp client. They are both at root, with everything else in /wordpress.

    Any help appreciated 😉

    Asking the stupid:

You have an index.php in /wordpress?
Can you get to the site at url.com/wordpress?
What did you set your Site URL and blog URL to?

Thanks. I could get to the site via /wordpress before attempting the move. So it did ‘work’. But nothing now.

    Site url to mysite.com/wordpress
    Blog url to mysite.com
