Top menus – How to add?

I am looking at this site: http://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman/

and I am trying to add the top row, where it says: Home, Categories, Styling, Layout, etc.

Also I am trying to add: Post formats, lifestyle, music, food, etc. I know that these are categories but when I go to the widget area I’m only given the option to put it on Primary or Secondary and not above it. Is there a plugin I’m supposed to install to enable me to have the row of categories I’m looking for?
