Tooltip suddenly not working

    Hi,
    I’ve been using a tooltip plugin in certain cells of my table with no problems until today. Now they are just showing the code instead of being hidden.

    Today I updated to the latest WordPress and also updated your plugin at the same time. I didn’t notice right away which caused the problem (or perhaps another plugin I updated). However, I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and nothing has changed. The tooltip plugin works fine in posts and other areas of my blog, just not in your table anymore.

    I’ll probably try a different tooltip plugin, so it’s not a big deal. But thought I would ask here first before going through the trouble. Maybe there’s something I’m missing.

    Thank you for any ideas you might have. I appreciate your table plugin. So far it has been pretty good.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Please check if you are still seeing the TablePress Shortcode when editing that page (and not e.g. rendered HTML code), and maybe try adding a parameter to turn off TablePress caching:

    [table id=5 cache_table_output=false /]

    Other than that, I’m out of ideas here, sorry. Nothing changed in TablePress’ handling of Shortcodes in the last versions.

    Wow! That appears to have fixed it. You’re amazing!

    So it was showing a cached version of the table then? I had dumped my caches but maybe there was one I missed. Just curious.
