Looks like standard issue image software to me. Both header images are just jpegs, nothing special.
Probably made with PhotoShop or one of the other top of the line programs.
The line of ten images below the header are also only jpegs in a list and styled via CSS. Here is the code for the first img on the left.

I meant the programming stuff, Ajax etc.
I saw no “programing” in the header imgs. If you mean the hover effect for those ten images that is also via CSS.
Maybe I just missed it. Describe what you are seeing that may help.
The only scripting I detected was the rotating block of text in the sidebar. That I believe, but not sure, is done with this script.
