Too much space between code in Theme Editor

    When I’m working in the theme editor there is SO much space between lines of code that I have to scroll for ages and it’s difficult to find my way around. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

    The spaces may have generated when the code was copied from software which used certain formats that the Editor hadn’t access to. You may need to copy the code into software that re-formats it for you, then paste it back into the editor.

    A plain text editor that can save files in Unix format should be OK.
