Too many images deleted

    Hi There,

    I tried Media Cleaner on my WordPress site. It said, that about 1400 Images are unused.

    I deleted them, but it seems, that it also deleted a lot of used images.

    My WordPress Stack is:

    – Custom Theme
    – Lazy Blocks Block Generator (https://lazyblocks.com/)
    – Fly Image Resizer (https://wordpress.org/plugins/fly-dynamic-image-resizer/)

    Any Idea, why too many images, which are still used, got deleted?

    I was able to restore them, but it would still be nice to be able to use the plugin..

    Hi Jan,

    Can you check one image, for starters, and exactly how it is used in your WordPress? I mean where and how from the admin perspective (not on the website). It would be helpful 🙂

    Hi Jordy,

    I am using the Block Builder LazyBlocks (https://lazyblocks.com/). With this, one can generate custom gutenberg Blocks, which the author can later place on the pages (Like Advanced custom fields also has as option).

    When placing a lazy blocks component on the page, I can select an image from WordPress Medias. The generated markup of this component get’s written to the content of this page.

    After running the media cleaner, most of those images placed whithin components where gone.

    Actually, I am using LazyBlocks as well (and love it)! But strangely, I didn’t see the issues on my own websites.

    Advanced plugins are only supported in the Pro version. But I will fix this.
