toggle button (Pro) not working as expected

I have this as my toggle button in the code:
[togglebutton togglebutton-491 “Add Player” “Remove Second Player”]

This is the conditional I have setup:
show [second-person] if [togglebutton-491] [not equals] [Add Player]

If I change it to equals or not equals, it doesnt work as expected. Once I toggle once, it deletes the value from the toggle button and doesnt fire anymore. I’ve tried this with both version 1.6.1 and 1.6.4.
