Titles Missing For Some Posts in Sidebar Widget

I just installed this for a client, and limited to the top 10 posts from her blog. However while 7 of the posts show their titles, the other 3 are missing titles, and instead they only display the site title.

Note that I did exclude the site title in the widget, which is separated by a pipe. I also tried excluding the site title without the pipe as well, but that didn’t eliminate the site title from showing for those three posts, so that indicates some other issue is present.
