Good afternoon
I am wanting to add the title (caption) of the image only in the Lightbox and NOT under or above the thumbnail. Is this possible?

It’s possible but will require some custom JS development with the lightbox you are using, either Fancybox or PrettyPhoto. You might be able to find instructions on how to add the title to the lightbox on their relevant websites.
