Viewing the page source of the page in the screenshot, the title output by Yoast SEO includes the separator:

    <title>Drake – Free Smoke Mp3 Download | Naijahomeland</title>

It can take up to a week for Google to index the changes you made, depending on how often your website is crawled. So for now, we’ll have to wait for Google to crawl your site again.

Sometimes you can speed up this process as described in this KB: Fetch as Googlebot

Hi admin i switched my plugin to all in one so pack due to the issue and it was solved. Should i switch my plugin back to yoast seo will the title separator issue be resolved with your guidance here thank you as i await your reply.

    Hello – I have a similar problem I think.

I have just installed Yoast SEO for the first time and now the title separator is the only thing that appears in my website’s tab and in the address bar I have a few of the title separator after the name of the website.

These problems go away if I deactivate Yoast SEO.

I would prefer to use Yoast rather than another SEO Plug in but can’t fix this problem without deactivating it.

I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who knows how to fix this.

    Thank you
    Sharon

We’d recommend temporarily deactivating your current SEO plugin and reactivate Yoast SEO. After you have done so, please follow this guide and search for the <title> tag. That will be title generated by Yoast SEO, which you can check if it’s correct.

We hope to have cleared things up for you and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions.
