    Hello,

I use Slim SEO 4.11.2 with WordPress 7.1 and the block editor, and I’d like to suggest an improvement to the link popover.

When I insert or edit a link in a paragraph, a “Title attribute” field appears and is automatically prefilled with the title of the linked page. It sits alongside the nofollow / sponsored / ugc toggles. I confirmed that these additions come from Slim SEO: when I deactivate the plugin, they disappear, and a fresh WordPress install only shows “Open in new tab”, “Mark as nofollow” and “Additional CSS class(es)”.

The problem is that a title attribute that just repeats the link text is considered redundant and discouraged for accessibility (it only shows on mouse hover, and some screen readers read it twice). Accessibility checkers such as WAVE flag it, so I have to clear the field on every new link.

Could you consider one of these options?

    • a setting to disable the title field in the link popover,
    • leaving the field empty by default instead of prefilling it,
    • or removing the field and keeping only the rel options.

The rel options (nofollow, sponsored, ugc) are very useful, so I’d keep those.

Thank you for the plugin and for your time.
