    Hello. The header and description metadata template does not apply to custom post type when set ‘hierarchical’ => true. What could it be because of? Thanks

  • Hi @asmiio,

    Yoast SEO supports custom post types. Can you give us more details about what you mean by the title and descriptions not applying? If it helps, you’re welcome to share a URL or send us a link to a screenshot that shows the problem?

    Sorry, I did not describe the problem accurately. The meta title and meta description template (custom post type) is filled in the plugin settings, but is not showed on the page (the standard post title is added). It happen if specify ‘hierarchical’ => true when registering custom post type.

    @asmiio

    We understand when you set 'hierarchical' => true when registering custom post type. This sounds strange as we are not aware yet whether that parameter would affect the meta title and description output.
