TinyMCE problems

    I recently upgraded to 2.6, and then subsequently tried installing a plugin for an AdvancedMCE (I wanted smilies/emoticons in my editor). Well, I couldn’t get it working (possibly incompatible with 2.6), so I uninstalled it, and restored my wp-include directory from the original 2.6 download.

    But my visual editor is still MESSED UP (no 2nd row of buttons, html is not parsed). I’ve deleted my cache and reloaded dozens of times to no avail. How do I restore my MCE?
