Did everything I could think of
    – dis/enabled the plugin
    – with and without cache plugin
    – emptied cache
    – with and with visiting the page after changing the post
    – looking with different browsers.

    It’s a Page update not a Post.
Homepage is updated whenever I visit the website.

    What else could I do?

Hi that’s pretty weird. Could you check if the timestamp is updated on your actual page? Cause the plugin just takes the “last modified date” from your pages and prints them to the sitemaps. So maybe the pages timestamp didn’t really get updated.

Or is it the homepage you’re talking about? Cause that’s a little different since its timestamp doesn’t get updated everytime you edit or add a new post or page. However there’s a little “hack” you can do. If you add your homepage url in admin settings “Block urls” it will still show up in the sitemaps, but always have a new updated date everytime someone’s visiting the sitemaps (or cache is reset).. making it look like your site is always updated heh.

    Hi,

I spent a couple of hours on it. Tried about 5 other sitemap plugins, but one is even worse than the other. Plugins like All in one seo put even private pages in the sitemap.

The timestamp is back. I didn’t change any text on the Page itself but in Tablepress. I changed something on the Page and saved the Page again and that mind have done the trick.

Thanks for the little hack. I’m going to try out your plugin for a while, see how it does.

    Thanks
